Speech Therapist or Physical Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Speech Therapist and Physical Therapist with a background in hippotherapy to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work with children and adults in a holistic, therapeutic environment that incorporates the benefits of horseback riding to improve motor, speech, and cognitive skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and physical therapy services to clients, utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions.
• Incorporate hippotherapy techniques into treatment plans, integrating the horse as a therapeutic tool for improving motor skills, balance, coordination, and communication.
• Collaborate with other therapists and medical professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and make recommendations for future therapy.
• Educate and support families and caregivers in therapy techniques to enhance progress at home.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, their families, and the team.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field.
• Current licensure to practice in New Jersey.
• Certification in hippotherapy.
• Experience working with children and/or adults with special needs or developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
